On September 14th-16th, 2026, Williams & Connolly partners Vidya Mirmira and Stan Fisher presented at the 2026 IP Litigation North America Summit in Boston, Massachusetts.  The IPL Summit is a comprehensive annual forum for senior in-house counsel, patent litigators, judges, and intellectual property professionals to address complex patent and trade secret disputes.  The event brings together three concurrent, dedicated tracks under one roof: Trade Secrets Legal Protection, Pharma & Biotech Patent Litigation, and Tech & Innovation Patent Litigation, and discusses topics such as artificial intelligence, policy and legal shifts, and global enforcement.

Vidya moderated and spoke on the “Expanding Trade Secret Portfolios: Protection Across the Business” panel, which explored complex issues regarding the evolving landscape of protecting trade secrets and leveraging coordination among different aspects of the business, balancing practicalities of innovation with protection.

Stan spoke on the panel titled “Biologics Patent Litigation: A Review of How Disputes are Shifting, and Strategy is Adapting,” which covered how biologics patent litigation is evolving beyond traditional biosimilar disputes and how litigators are adapting their strategies in response.
