On September 10, Partner Andrew Trask will moderate the panel “Clerking at the Federal Circuit: A Conversation with Recent Federal Circuit Law Clerks” hosted by The Federal Circuit Bar Association and The Appellate Project. Associate Christie Corn will participate in the panel alongside Rashmi Borah, Attorney Advisor, Office of General Counsel for the U.S. International Trade Commission, and Jessica Lam, Senior IP Counsel for Novartis.
This panel brings together attorneys who recently served as law clerks at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit for an informal conversation about non-confidential aspects of their clerkship experiences. The panelists will discuss topics such as their decision to clerk, tips for applying to clerkships, the skills needed to serve as a Federal Circuit law clerk, the typical day-to-day tasks of a law clerk at the Federal Circuit, and how the clerkship experience has been useful in their subsequent roles.
