Williams & Connolly Director of Attorney Recruiting, Diversity, and Development Natasha Zech participated in a January 14, 2020 panel discussion entitled “Diversity Well Beyond the Theory: The ‘How’ in Recruitment, Retention and Inclusion.”  Hosted by accounting firm Baker Tilly, the discussion focused on what businesses are doing to drive change in their own organizations. Topics covered by the panel included the business benefits of a diverse workforce, how to recruit a diverse talent base, implicit bias in the interview process, methods for retaining diverse talent, clear and consistent criteria for evaluating performance, and developing useful metrics on diversity.
