Williams & Connolly won an important trial victory on behalf of its clients Lexington Law Firm, the leading credit report repair law firm in the United States, and Progrexion, its primary vendor. The plaintiff, a large debt collector, alleged civil RICO and common law claims based on allegations that Lexington Law’s core business amounts to a wide-ranging mail and wire fraud scheme affecting millions of consumers and counterparties. On November 18, 2021, after a 3-week trial before the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, a jury returned a verdict in favor of our clients, rejecting the plaintiff’s claims in their entirety.
