Partner Tom Hentoff will speak at the inaugural ASU/UCLA Copyright Symposium on March 16th, 2023, in Los Angeles, CA. Tom, co-chair of the firm’s First Amendment & Media practice group, will join speakers on the panel “Transformation in Practice: Assessing Fair Use In the Wake of Oracle v. Google and Warhol v. Goldsmith” The firm represents photographer Lynn Goldsmith in Warhol v. Goldsmith in the U.S. Supreme Court. In October 2022, partner Lisa Blatt presented arguments in the case before the U.S. Supreme Court, and a decision is pending.
