On July 1, 2021, partners Ana Reyes and Jon Landy will present the webinar “Why Is My Foreign Company Being Sued in the United States?!” as part of the International Bar Association Global Influencer Forum. As cross-border prosecutions are increasing, the range of civil litigations is also expanding. To aid counsel in navigating developments in this area, the webinar will explore recent decisions by the U.S. Supreme Court as well as responsive actions by Congress, particularly with respect to the securities laws, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, and antitrust laws. Jon and Ana serve as Co-Chairs of the firm’s International Disputes practice group.
