For the second year in a row, Williams & Connolly was elected winner of “D.C. Firm of the Year” at the third annual Benchmark Litigation U.S. Awards ceremony on February 11, 2016. The firm was also awarded “Impact Case of the Year” for its handling of the antitrust class action against its client AstraZeneca in In re Nexium (Esomeprazole).
Dane Butswinkas was named “Commercial Attorney of the Year” nationwide and Heidi Hubbard was named “Products Liability Attorney of the Year” nationwide. The winners were selected based upon extensive research conducted between March and November 2015.
Williams & Connolly was also shortlisted for “Commercial Firm of the Year” and “White Collar Crime/Enforcement/Securities Firm of the Year.” Dane Butswinkas was shortlisted for “Trial Lawyer of the Year” nationwide.
