Williams & Connolly partner Sarah Harris was selected to Law360’s 2021 list of Rising Stars. After receiving more than 1,400 nominations, Law360 selected 5 honorees from each practice area, all under the age of 40, whose “legal accomplishments transcend their age.”
Law360 featured twin victories for Williams & Connolly’s clients before the Supreme Court this Term in Carr v. Saul and Salinas v. United States Railroad Retirement Board, both cases Sarah argued. Sarah also emphasized the value of having a mentor who shares opportunities—for her, that was Lisa Blatt, who Sarah said has set an example of paying opportunities forward. "How do I make sure associates who are junior to me are also getting opportunities?" Harris said. "Not being a jerk is a cardinal rule of appellate practice."
