On October 3, 2018, the firm filed suit in Colorado federal court against a competitor of our client, Genscape, Inc., which is a subsidiary of the Daily Mail Group. Genscape is a leading global provider of energy data for commodity and financial markets.
Genscape alleges that Live Power Intelligence Co. LLC (“LPI”) and its CEO, William P. Townsend, used proprietary information that Townsend learned while working for Genscape, in violation of the confidentiality agreement he signed.
