Williams & Connolly partner Bryan Wilson will present on a webinar on The Sedona Conference Commentary on Exemplary Damages and Attorneys’ Fees in Trade Secret Actions, Monday, August 3, 2026, at 1 p.m. EDT. The webinar will discuss key substantive issues such as legal standards for exemplary damages and fees in trade secret actions, lack of uniformity across jurisdictions, procedural inconsistencies, and proposed consensus principles. Other panel members include Michael Berkovits, Kristin Cleveland, and Jonathan Crook.
Bryan Wilson is Co-Chair of the firm’s Unfair Competition, Trade Secrets, and Restrictive Covenants practice group. He tries complex commercial matters throughout the country for both plaintiffs and defendants before juries, judges, and arbitrators. Recent matters, including several that went to trial or arbitral hearing, involved allegations of breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, copyright infringement, breach of fiduciary duty, false advertising, fraud, unfair competition, violations of federal procurement laws and the false claims act, and theft of trade secrets. Bryan also counsels clients in conflicts, employee mobility issues, and investigations and works to avoid litigation when possible. Bryan serves on the Steering Committee of The Sedona Conference Working Group on Trade Secrets.
