Chris Manning Speaks at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s 2025 Bench-Bar & Annual Conference

On October 10, 2025, Williams & Connolly partner Chris Manning participated as a panelist at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s 2025 Bench-Bar & Annual Conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The panel, titled “The Impact of Executive Action on Judges, Lawyers, Law Firms, Non-Profits, and the Communities We Serve,” discussed the first 10 months of executive actions by the Administration, their effects on the judicial system, law firms and legal service organizations, the impact on judges and practitioners, and the role of the legal and judicial communities going forward. The panel was moderated by CNN Senior Legal Analyst Elie Honig.

Chris currently represents multiple clients in legal challenges to recent executive actions by the Administration. He also represents clients in complex civil and criminal litigation and advises clients facing crisis situations or other strategic challenges. Chris serves as Co-Chair of Williams & Connolly’s Arbitration and FCPA & Cross-Border Investigations practice groups and as a Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s subcommittee on Qui Tam (False Claims Act) litigation.
