ACC NCR CLE: Complex Litigation – Tips for Winning Efficiently

On October 15, 2025, Williams & Connolly partners Ted Bennett and Suzanne Salgado will speak on a panel hosted by the Association for Corporate Counsel National Capital Region titled, Complex Litigation – Tips for Winning Efficiently.” The panel will feature Ben Gray, Chief Legal Officer of Kraken, and will discuss ways in which in-house counsel can work with trial counsel to efficiently and effectively litigate complex commercial cases.

Ted Bennett serves as co-chair of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice group. His practice focuses on trial work and civil litigation, principally in matters relating to commercial disputes, corporate governance, banking and financial services, antitrust and trade practices, patents, trade secrets and other intellectual property. In recent years, Ted has been lead trial counsel in civil and criminal jury trials and arbitrations, and has represented global financial services companies, major accounting firms, Fortune 50 companies, multinational chemical and technology companies, and individuals in federal and state courts across the country, in arbitrations, and in CFPB, SEC, and other government investigations. Ted is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Suzanne Salgado’s practice focuses on trial work and civil litigation. She has tried both bench and jury trials in courts around the country, and represents individuals and corporations in high-stakes litigations—developing themes, preparing and examining key witnesses, and designing strategies that have resulted in favorable outcomes for her clients. Suzanne has experience with a range of substantive areas of law, including healthcare, financial services, and contract and commercial disputes. In addition to her trial work, Suzanne has represented clients from a range of industries in investigations by State Attorneys General and by the United States Government.
