On October 29, 2025, Partner John Villa will appear as the guest speaker in the second in a series of lectures in the Steven S. Kaufman Family Anatomy of a Trial Lecture Series at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. The presentation will include concrete steps attorneys should consider at the outset of litigation to construct a persuasive trial narrative as well as practical means of implementing that concept in discovery motion practice and the structure of depositions. He will discuss the opportunities presented by bench trials and arbitral hearings where a great deal of commercial disputes are resolved.
John serves as co-chair of the firm’s Financial Services and Banking practice group and focuses his practice on legal malpractice defense and corporate, securities and financial services related litigation.
