LMG Life Sciences celebrated the year’s top legal achievements in the life sciences practice area at the LMG Life Sciences Annual Awards ceremony in September 2015.  Williams & Connolly was crowned the winner of Litigation Firm of the Year.  Additionally, the firm was awarded the Product Liability Impact Case of the Year for its representation of Pfizer/Wyeth in Tersigni Michael v. Wyeth et al., Antitrust Impact Case of the Year for its representation of AstraZeneca in In re Nexium (Esomeprazole), and Patent Impact Case of the Year for its representation of Mirowski Family Ventures LLC in Mirowski Family Ventures, LLC v. Boston Scientific, et al.

Also during the evening, Bruce Genderson was inducted into the LMG Life Sciences Hall of Fame.  He was acknowledged for his founding of the Williams & Connolly patent litigation practice and for his prolonged work representing some of the largest companies in the country.  Only a limited number of lawyers are inducted each year and according to the publication, Genderson joins “a select group of legends in the Life Sciences industry.”
