Amanda has defended Fortune 100 issuers, underwriters, Big 4 accounting firms, board committees, directors and corporate officers in securities litigation, class actions, derivative actions, and investigations and enforcement actions by the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Most recently, Amanda and her team won a motion to terminate on behalf of the Special Litigation Committee (“SLC”) of the Board of Bumble Inc., before the Delaware Court of Chancery. The SLC investigated shareholder breach of fiduciary duty claims alleging that the company’s controlling shareholder used insider information in selling stock pursuant to a secondary offering in late 2021.
