For the second year in a row, Williams & Connolly’s Law Firm Defense practice was recognized among the top practices in the nation by Chambers USA.
Chambers USA also ranked Charles Davant, Meg Keeley, Craig Singer, and John Villa among the top Law Firm Defense practitioners in the nation.
Charles Davant has represented lawyers and law firms for more than two decades, including in jury trials and arbitration hearings. He has advised or defended more than 50 law firms, including seven of the “AmLaw 10,” the highest grossing firms in the United States. According to Chambers, he “enjoys a strong reputation for his courtroom advocacy skills” and “offers significant expertise in defending professional services providers.”
Meg Keeley serves as Co-Chair of the Law Firm Defense practice group. She has defended major law firms in legal malpractice and other professional liability matters, including in trials and arbitrations. Meg counts numerous Am Law 100 firms among her clients, as well as several boutique and regional law firms.
Craig Singer services as Co-Chair of the Law Firm Defense practice group. Craig has represented numerous lawyers and law firms, including some of the nation’s largest firms, in federal and state courts, government investigations, and arbitration proceedings in many jurisdictions across the country.
John Villa is Co-chair of the firm’s Financial Services and Banking practice group. He focuses his practice on legal malpractice defense, corporate, securities and financial services-related litigation (both civil and criminal). John has represented a substantial number of the largest law firms in the United States.
