The practice, chaired by partners Jennifer Wicht and Holly Conley, routinely handles investigations brought by state attorneys general. These matters have included single jurisdiction and multi-state investigations and involve virtually every aspect of government oversight that companies face today.
Jennifer Wicht is a leader in the firm’s practice representing corporations and individuals in government investigations and False Claims Act (“FCA”) litigation, focusing in particular on the health care industry. Her clients include pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacy benefit managers, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, senior living facilities, and distributors of medical and surgical supplies. She has tried multiple cases in federal and state courts, in arbitration proceedings, and in appeals. She also Co-Chairs the firm’s FCA and Qui Tam practice.
Holly Conley focuses on complex civil matters, and she has successfully represented clients before federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings across the United States. A substantial portion of Holly’s practice has been in the health care industry, representing pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacy benefit managers, and pharmacies in a wide range of disputes involving both federal and state governments and private litigants. Her experience in this arena includes actions alleging violations of the False Claims Act, anti-kickback statutes, and unfair trade practices as well as commercial disputes including intellectual property matters.
