Partner Katie Trefz has been named to The National Law Journal’s 2022 list of D.C. Rising Stars, recognizing the attorneys who “stood out for their work guiding clients through high-stakes litigation” over the past year.
Katie focuses her practice on criminal defense and government and internal investigations, serving as Co-Chair of the firm’s Internal Investigations practice group. Katie’s work for corporations and senior executives has involved a wide array of substantive allegations, including securities fraud, mail and wire fraud, antitrust crimes, violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), money laundering, tax fraud, and violation of the False Claims Act (FCA), among others.
