The Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs has presented the firm with an Outstanding Achievement Award in recognition of its work with the D.C. Parole Project, which coordinates volunteer lawyers to represent prisoners at parole hearings. The award honors firms for their work on such cases between June 2017 and July 2018.
Williams & Connolly’s Outstanding Achievement Award resulted from the firm’s successful representations of two prisoners who had spent a combined 67 years in prison. The lawyers handing the representations were Robert Cary, Bradley Masters, Kristin Saetveit, Eden Schiffmann, and John Williams.
