Enu Mainigi Named a 2023 “Litigator of the Year” Finalist by The American Lawyer

July 2023

The American Lawyer has named partner Enu Mainigi among the finalists for its 2023 “Litigator of the Year” award. According to the publication, honorees “represent the best of the best.” This is the third time in four years that Enu has been a finalist. Winners will be announced on November 15, 2023.

Over the past two years alone, Enu has served as lead trial counsel in seven diverse matters that went to trial or arbitration and has achieved multiple victories, including a jury verdict for Fifth Third Bank in a class action in Ohio federal court—a type of case that rarely goes to trial because the stakes are so high—and a landmark bench trial judgment in West Virginia in favor of Cardinal Health in the first opioid matter in the country to proceed to trial against wholesale distributors.* Enu serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Health Care Fraud and False Claims Act and Qui Tam practice groups and represents major clients in the health care, pharmaceuticals, and financial services industries.  In its 2023 edition, Chambers USA reported that Enu is “renowned for her representation of clients in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and financial services sectors in complex trials” and “is one of the best lawyers in the country.” Enu also serves as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
