On Thursday, September 7th, Williams & Connolly was honored with four awards at the 2023 LMG Life Sciences awards dinner in New York City. LMG named Williams & Connolly as both Hatch-Waxman Litigation Firm of the Year – Branded and Product Liability Firm of the Year, and recognized two of the firm’s representations as Non-IP Impact Cases of the Year: (i) the firm’s successful representation of Endo Pharmaceuticals in a “reverse-payment” antitrust trial, and (ii) the firm’s successful representation of GlaxoSmithKline (“GSK”) in an appeal before the First Circuit in a products liability matter relating to GSK’s product Zofran. The team representing Endo included Heidi Hubbard, Ben Greenblum, Elise Baumgarten, Katie Trefz, Sam Ford, Kari Lorentson, and Timika Adams-Sherman; and the team representing GSK included Amy Saharia, Lisa Blatt, and Jami King.
