On July 3, 2023, Law360 featured the firm’s Supreme Court and Appellate Litigation practice among top firms arguing before the Supreme Court in its annual review titled “The Firms That Won Big At The Supreme Court.” The article highlighted Williams & Connolly as the most active firm at the Court during the 2022-23 term. The firm was lead counsel in eight merits cases and argued seven cases—tops for any group in private practice, comprising more than 13% of the Court’s entire merits docket.
