Steve Raber Appointed to Board of Regents for American College of Trial Lawyers

October 2026

The American College of Trial Lawyers announced last week that Steve Raber has been appointed to serve a four-year term on its Board of Regents, the governing body of the College.  The announcement was made at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the College at the Waldorf Astoria in New York.

Founded in 1950, the College is composed of preeminent members of the Trial Bar from the United States and Canada and is recognized as the leading trial lawyers organization in both countries.  Fellowship in the College is extended only by invitation, after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality.  Lawyers must have a minimum of 15 years trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship.  Membership can never be more than 1% of the total lawyer population of any state or province.  The College works to preserve and protect an independent judiciary, the rule of law, and access to justice.

Steve was inducted into the College in 2014 and served as the D.C. State Chair from 2024-2026.  Additional Fellows in the College include Robert Watkins, Bill McDaniels, Brendan Sullivan, John Buckley, Bruce Genderson, Stephen Urbanczyk, Heidi Hubbard, Dane Butswinkas, Robert Cary, and Ted Bennett.
