Overview
On February 1-2, 2024, John Villa will serve as chair on a panel at PLI’s Mergers & Acquisitions 2024: Advanced Trends and Developments Program. The program will discuss M&A activity and cutting-edge trends and developments regarding the impact of macro factors, M&A litigation, difficult negotiation and contractual issues, including shareholder activism, SEC disclosure matters, antitrust enforcement, tax and other issues with important M&A implications.
John Villa is a partner at Williams & Connolly who served on the firm’s Executive Committee from 2002 through 2017. John is Co-Chair of the firm’s Financial Services and Banking Practice Group. He focuses on corporate, securities and financial services-related litigation (both civil and criminal) and legal malpractice defense.
