Overview
Shani obtained her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, her M.A. from St. John’s College, and her B.A. from Georgetown University. She served two terms as a City Council Member for the City of Hyattsville, Maryland from 2011 to 2019, with a focus on community building and expanding civic participation. Before joining Williams & Connolly, Shani was an associate at O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
