New Ethics Advice on Working from Home in Pandemic

Partner John McNichols has authored the article “New Ethics Advice on Working from Home in Pandemic,” published on June 15, 2020 in ABA Litigation News, a publication of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation.  The article addresses new ethics guidance released by The Pennsylvania Bar Association since the beginning of the pandemic, which addresses an attorney’s “duty of technological competence when handling sensitive client information in a home environment.”  

John focuses his practice on trial litigation, with emphasis on mass tort suits, securities and investment disputes, and criminal fraud cases.  He has tried multiple cases in both state and federal court, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.  John has also arbitrated cases before the ICC International Court of Arbitration and the American Arbitration Association.
