On October 29, 2019, partners Craig Singer and Bill Burke spoke on an ethics panel at the Working Group on Legal Opinions (WGLO) Fall Seminar in New York. The panel, “Current Ethics Issues Relating to Opinions,” focused on multiple ethics issues related to the provision of legal opinions that have been the subject of recent developments or debate in the courts and ethics tribunals, and among business lawyers and commentators. The WGLO seminars are hosted twice a year and bring together leading representatives from law firms, bar associations, and other attorney groups to discuss current issues confronting the legal opinion bar.
