Partner Kevin Hardy and associate Chris Geyer spoke at a program presented by the Federal Circuit Bar Association’s Patent, Trial and Appeal Board & the Trademark, Trial and Appeal Board Committees.  The panel, “Factors Affecting Success of Motions to Stay District Court Litigation Pending Inter Partes Review and Covered Business Method Review,” discussed recent data on stay orders and provided some considerations related to overall litigation strategy when it is likely that a patent challenger will seek to stay the district court case pending review by the PTAB.
