Williams & Connolly has been nominated in several categories for the fourth annual LMG Life Sciences awards. The firm has been shortlisted for Litigation Firm of the Year, Product Liability Firm of the Year, Hatch-Waxman Litigation Firm of the Year – Branded, and General Patent Litigation Firm of the Year. Additionally, Bruce Genderson has been nominated for General Patent Litigator of the Year for District of Columbia, Heidi Hubbard has been nominated for the Product Liability Attorney of the Year.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on September 14, at Essex House in New York.
Last year, Williams & Connolly was named winner of Litigation Firm of the Year. Additionally, the trial win in Tersigni v. Wyeth, in which the firm was co-lead trial counsel for Pfizer/Wyeth, was awarded Product Liability Impact Case of the Year; In re Nexium (Esomeprazole), in which the firm represented AstraZeneca, was named Antitrust Impact Case of the Year; and Mirowski Family Ventures, LLC v. Boston Scientific, et al., in which the firm represented Mirowski Family Ventures LLC, was named Patent Impact Case of the Year.
