Partner Bryan Wilson has authored the Bloomberg Law article “Eye-Popping Verdicts on Unjust Enrichment Theories in Trade Secret Litigation,” which covers recent verdicts and unjust enrichment remedies available under the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA) and comparable state statutes. The article addresses a recent trend in trade secret litigation in which plaintiffs have been awarded large damage awards using an unjust enrichment damages theory.

Bryan is Co-Chair of the firm’s Unfair Competition, Trade Secrets, and Restrictive Covenants practice group. He tries complex commercial matters throughout the country for both plaintiffs and defendants. Recent matters, including several that went to trial or arbitral hearing, involved allegations of breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, unfair competition, and theft of trade secrets.
