Williams & Connolly Elects Five Attorneys to Partnership

Williams & Connolly is pleased to announce the election of Melissa B. Collins, Teagan J. Gregory, Zachary K. Warren, Noah M. Weiss, and Joseph Q. Wood to its partnership, effective January 1, 2022.

The five new partners are:

Melissa B. Collins - Melissa represents corporations, professional firms, and individuals in a variety of civil matters, with a focus on complex commercial and intellectual property disputes.  She has represented clients in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels, in inter partes review proceedings before the Patent and Trademark Office, before arbitral panels, and in Department of Justice investigations.  She has experience in a range of substantive areas, particularly involving issues of patent and securities law, as well as claims under the Anti-Terrorism Act and False Claims Act. 

Teagan J. Gregory - Teagan focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on intellectual property and licensing disputes and antitrust disputes.  He has litigated patent cases across a range of fields, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical and mechanical devices.  Teagan has represented clients in proceedings under the BPCIA and the Hatch-Waxman Act. 

Zachary K. Warren - Zach represents individuals and corporate clients in complex criminal and civil matters.  He has litigated dozens of cases in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels, and has served as first-chair trial counsel in matters around the country.  He also regularly represents clients in investigations by grand juries, federal and state agencies, attorneys general, disciplinary bodies, boards of directors, and the United States Congress.

Noah M. Weiss - Noah litigates high-stakes civil and criminal matters for both individuals and corporations.  In civil cases, Noah has represented clients in a wide range of substantive areas, including commercial disputes, financial services litigation, class actions, False Claims Act cases, telecast rights litigation, and executive compensation disputes.  In criminal and investigations matters, Noah has guided corporations, senior executives, and public officials through inquiries conducted by various federal and state entities and agencies, including the U.S. Congress, Department of Justice, and Securities and Exchange Commission.

Joseph Q. Wood - Joe litigates a broad range of complex civil and criminal matters before state and federal courts, arbitrators, and government agencies throughout the United States.  He has represented corporations, professional firms, and individuals in diverse substantive areas, including trade secrets and restrictive covenants, commercial disputes, products liability, criminal investigations, professional liability, and First Amendment and media law.
