In its 2021 edition, The Legal 500 recognized partners Lisa Blatt, Amy Saharia and Sarah Harris as leaders in the appellate field. Lisa was selected to The Legal 500’s Appellate Law “Hall of Fame.” Both Amy and Sarah were recognized as “Next Generation Lawyers” in Appellate Litigation. As reported by The Legal 500, an observer noted that the “appellate team at Williams & Connolly is the best in the nation. Overall, the appellate group boldly delivers results in high-stake environments, often involving bet-the-company litigation.” According to the publication, rankings are based on its analysis “of the capabilities of law firms across the world, with a comprehensive research program revised and updated every year to bring the most up-to-date vision of the global legal market.”
