Partners Steve Raber and Ana Reyes were named to The National Law Journal's 2018 list of Winning Litigators. The lawyers featured in the list “scored great results for clients in high-stakes matters.” In their interview with the magazine, the pair discussed their landmark win on behalf of former Bolivian President Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada and Minister of Defense José Carlos Sánchez Berzaín. This case represented the first time a former head of state was tried in a U.S. court. They also discussed their key trial tip, “Trust your associates to carry the ball. Our associates took trial depositions, questioned trial witnesses and argued motions. Everyone was therefore fully involved, which led to more collaboration and better decision-making.”
