Nick Loftus focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and government investigations. He has experience in a range of substantive areas, including high-stakes commercial disputes and professional liability defense, and has litigated in courts across the country.

A native of the Washington, D.C., area, Nick received his B.A. with highest distinction from the University of Virginia.  He then received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as an editor of the Michigan Law Review. Following law school, Nick clerked for the Honorable Stephen H. Glickman of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and the Honorable Leonie M. Brinkema of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. 

Nick lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and their two children.
