Matt is an associate at Williams & Connolly. A native Vermonter, Matt earned his B.S., cum laude, from the University of Vermont and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center. During law school, Matt served as Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Journal of International Law and as a member of the Barristers’ Council, Appellate Advocacy Division. Matt was also a Legal Research & Writing Fellow, a Senior Writing Fellow, and a student attorney in the Appellate Litigation Clinic, where he briefed cases in the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Sixth Circuits.

Matt clerked for Judge Peter W. Hall of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge Mark R. Hornak of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania before joining Williams & Connolly.
