Kees joined Williams & Connolly as an associate in 2021.  He received his J.D. with honors from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.  During law school he served as Executive Editor and Articles Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. Before joining the firm, Kees clerked for the Honorable Steven M. Colloton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Honorable Trevor N. McFadden of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He worked at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office between college and law school.
