Elizabeth H. Denchfield

Elizabeth H. Denchfield represents corporations and individuals in a variety of disputes in state and federal court and in arbitration proceedings.  Elizabeth has worked on a wide range of high-stakes cases, including matters involving the False Claims Act, breaches of contract, theft of trade secrets, and breaches of fiduciary duty.

Before joining the firm, Elizabeth worked in the United States Senate, where she served as health policy advisor and deputy chief of staff to Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and as healthcare legislative assistant to then-Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee Senator Thad Cochran.

Born and raised in Mississippi, Elizabeth graduated cum laude from Yale University and magna cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center, where she studied as an evening student while working full-time in the Senate, was a member of the Order of the Coif, and served as President of the Federalist Society.  After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Cory T. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. 

Elizabeth lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with her husband (a Bethesda native) and their son.
