Colleen McNamara concentrates her practice on healthcare and False Claims Act litigation at the trial and appellate levels.  She has represented national retail pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers, and pharmaceutical distributors in a range of substantive areas, including state and federal qui tam litigation, government investigations, tort claims, and class actions.  She has represented leading healthcare corporations at all stages of litigation, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, dispositive motions practice, and trial.  She has served as trial counsel in a high-stakes Medicaid fraud case and as national counsel in a complex federal MDL proceeding with numerous associated state court cases.  And she has litigated appeals throughout the federal system. 

Colleen received her B.A., with Honors in English, from Williams College in 2003 and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in 2011, where she was senior Articles Editor for the Northwestern University Law Review.  Before joining Williams & Connolly as an associate in 2012, she served as a law clerk to The Honorable Janice Rogers Brown of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
