Cassie Fields focuses her practice on professional liability defense and high-stakes civil litigation, and she has litigated cases at both the trial and appellate level. Cassie has also represented clients in connection with criminal defense matters, financial services litigation, and government investigations. Cassie is actively committed to pro bono matters, having represented civil litigants in domestic violence cases and criminal defendants in trial level and post-conviction proceedings.
Cassie earned her B.A. in Public Policy Studies, with Honors, from the University of Chicago in 2007, and received her J.D. from the Yale Law School in 2011. While at Yale, Cassie served on the executive board of the Black Law Students Association and as a Comments Editor of the Yale Law Journal. Prior to law school, Cassie served on the policy and communications staffs of the Illinois Senate President.
Cassie serves as a member of the firm’s Hiring and Pro Bono committees.
