Andy obtained his J.D. from Brigham Young University, where he graduated summa cum laude and served as Articles Editor on the BYU Law Review. He obtained his B.S. in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University, graduating cum laude. During law school, Andy received the J. Reuben Clark Award for academic excellence and the John S. Welch Award for Outstanding Legal Writing. Andy clerked for Associate Chief Justice Thomas R. Lee of the Utah Supreme Court and Judge Edith H. Jones of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
