Mr. Ashworth represents clients in a broad range of complex civil and criminal litigation. He has represented clients in high-profile securities and derivative litigation, regulatory investigations (including several SEC matters), civil RICO actions, international disputes, criminal matters, and general civil litigation. He has handled civil and criminal matters in state and federal courts and arbitrations around the country, including both civil and criminal appeals. He has extensive experience in professional liability defense, and has represented accounting firms and law firms in securities, derivative, and bankruptcy actions, as well as in regulatory proceedings. He also has experience representing international clients from Europe, Latin America and the Middle East in a wide range of matters.
Mr. Ashworth has practiced at Williams & Connolly since 2002. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated with honors and served as a member of the Texas Law Review.
