He has represented corporate executives, public officials, and other individuals and entities in matters involving allegations of securities and accounting fraud, public corruption, election offenses, money laundering, false claims, and environmental crimes. He has defended these same clients in parallel civil proceedings, including Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement proceedings, Federal Election Commission enforcement proceedings, and Office of Inspector General investigations.
