Representative Experience

Though all cases vary and none is predictive, recent representations include:

  • Representation of United States Senator accused of lying on financial disclosure forms. The District Court dismissed the charges, and the prosecutors themselves ended up the subject of a criminal investigation.
  • Representation of state senator in appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, which reversed honest services fraud and false statement convictions.
  • Representation of senior political party official accused of federal election law offenses. The firm’s client was acquitted on all counts after trial.
  • Representation of city contractor in federal bribery investigation. The investigation was terminated because of prosecutorial misconduct resulting in the resignation of four federal prosecutors.
  • Representation of lobbyist in Foreign Agents Registration Act investigation. Prosecutors declined to bring charges.
  • Representation of political party official in campaign finance investigation. Prosecutors declined to bring charges.
