Williams & Connolly LLP partners Lon Babby, Jim Tanner, Bob Barnett, and other members of the sports practice are featured in an article entitled "When Sports Stars Need a Smart Lawyer Who Can Make Big Deals" in the January edition of Washingtonian magazine.  The article highlights the success of the firm's sports practice from founding partner Edward Bennett Williams' ownership of the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Orioles, to the representation of several professional athletes including NBA, WNBA, and MLB talent, in player and marketing contracts.
