Lynda Schuler has extensive experience in general civil litigation, legal malpractice defense and trusts and estates litigation, including jury and bench trials and appellate argument. Identified as one of "Washington's Top Lawyers" by Washingtonian magazine, she has successfully defended at trial law firms in claims of malpractice, individuals in will contests, and a corporation in a securities case. She has also obtained summary judgment for a law firm in a malpractice case, and successfully argued the appeal. Her general civil experience includes employment disputes, medical malpractice claims, and commercial disputes.

Ms. Schuler is a member of the Williams & Connolly LLP Ethics Committee. She joined Williams & Connolly in 1991, and has been a partner since 1998. She became the Executive Director of the firm on February 1, 2006.
