Greg Bowman has successfully defended individuals and entities in a diverse range of civil and criminal matters. Representative examples of Mr. Bowman’s diverse practice include conducting internal corporate investigations and representing individuals and companies in disputes involving international law, national security law, professional liability, securities, intellectual property, government contracts, and other complex civil litigation. Mr. Bowman’s intellectual property practice has focused on matters involving electrical engineering and radiation physics.
Mr. Bowman graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a degree in electrical engineering and received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 1998, where he was a member of the Yale Law Journal.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bowman served 14 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy, including serving as damage control assistant of a nuclear-powered submarine and as a judge advocate. In the latter capacity, Mr. Bowman gained extensive experience in national security law by serving as counsel to two national security commissions and representing the Department of the Navy in national security litigation.
