| Eva Esber is an experienced trial lawyer, focusing on civil litigation and arbitration matters. Ms. Esber's experience includes banking fraud litigation, pharmaceutical products liability litigation, employment disputes, trust and estates litigation, fiduciary obligation litigation, unfair competition claims, medical malpractice defense, and other commercial litigation. Ms. Esber also successfully tried a multi-million dollar plaintiff's case for recovery of sums lost through elder-fraud, which involved both AAA arbitration proceedings and trial in a United States District Court against different sets of defendants. As one aspect of Ms. Esber’s employment dispute practice, she is experienced in conducting corporate internal investigations of alleged sexual harassment and discrimination. Ms. Esber also has criminal litigation experience involving representation of individuals and corporations in investigations and prosecutions concerning alleged government contract fraud, and other federal offenses.
Ms. Esber has twice been recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as one of “Washington’s Top Lawyers.” She served as a member of the firm's Executive Committee for 2004 and 2005, and a member of the Hiring Committee from 2005 to 2009. Currently Ms. Esber serves as one of two partners who mentor and help manage the caseloads of the firm’s associates.
