Luba Shur’s experience includes litigation of criminal and complex civil cases touching upon a wide range of areas, including bankruptcy, class actions, consumer fraud, employment disputes, professional malpractice, products liability, and various other commercial matters. Ms. Shur has represented clients in arbitrations and state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level throughout the country.
Ms. Shur earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Ms. Shur was an Order of the Coif recipient and an Articles Editor for the Virginia Law Review.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Shur served as a law clerk to Judge James H. Michael, Jr., of the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, and Judge Henry A. Politz, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Ms. Shur is fluent in Russian.
