Kevin Hodges has a broad range of experience in complex litigation matters. Kevin has represented large accounting firms in cases arising from tax, audit, and securities matters; leading law firms and their attorneys in professional malpractice cases; and financial services institutions in federal and state court commercial and class action litigation. He has represented clients in a range of matters involving competition and business practices, including at trial and arbitration and before federal agencies in antitrust, non-competition agreement, and consumer protection cases. Kevin has also represented federal contractors in government investigations and before federal courts and agencies on issues as wide-ranging as the False Claims Act and other federal statutes, procurement-integrity laws, suspension and debarment proceedings, protests, and subcontractor disputes.
In addition to his trial experience, Kevin has extensive arbitration experience in cases involving business disputes and professional liability issues. Over the course of his career, he also has represented companies in numerous internal and government investigations and negotiations with government authorities.
Kevin received his Sc.B. in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University in 1986 and his J.D., magna cum laude, in 1990 from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and Senior Editor of The Georgetown Law Journal. He clerked for Judge Thomas A. Flannery of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, then joined Williams & Connolly in 1991.
Kevin served as the Managing Partner of the firm from 2014 to 2018. Previously, he spent seven years on the firm’s Hiring Committee, first as its Vice-Chair (2008 to 2010) and then as its Chair (2010 to 2012).
Since 2016, Benchmark Litigation has consistently recognized Kevin as a local “Litigation Star” in the area of General Commercial Litigation. He also was recommended for Government Contracts in the 2015 edition of The Legal 500.
Kevin has served on the Board of Visitors for Georgetown Law School and is Chair of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Advisory Rules Committee.
