The National Law Journal Names Andy Keyes a Litigation Trailblazer

November 2023

The National Law Journal has recognized partner Andy Keyes as a 2023 Litigation “Trailblazer,” highlighting the jury trial victory for client Cardinal Health in a first-of-its-kind trial in Georgia state court, where plaintiffs sued our client and two other wholesale distributors for allegedly violating Georgia’s Drug Dealer Liability Act, claiming they could recover damages resulting from their family members’ abuse of opioids and other legal drugs. After a five-week trial, the jury returned a sweeping verdict in favor of Cardinal Health and the other two defendants on all claims. Commenting on the win, Andy noted that “[w]e succeeded at trial because of years of thoughtful planning and hard work by our entire team and my colleagues’ sincerity and outstanding advocacy in the courtroom.”
